How it works:
Come in and see us for a free consultation first. We’ll chat about your concerns and your goals for your skin and overall appearance and discuss a recommended treatment plan. Laser Genesis gently heats the upper layer of the skin with a blitz of light micro-pulses. The heat stimulates collagen production, breaks down scar tissue and diffuses discolouration. It is a quick treatment, normally taking just 30 minutes.
What to expect:
Laser Genesis is a non-invasive procedure that has little-to-no downtime. You will feel a warm sensation, however there is a cooling tip that offers a bit of relief with every zap and there’s generally no need for numbing cream, but we’re here to hold your hand if you need and expletives are encouraged. If you’re treating brown spots, these may darken post treatment and then slough off after a few days. We’ll provide advice on what to avoid post-treatment and recommended home care as your skin may be more sensitive than usual.
